Our Story
SIME was founded in 1951 by Antonio Lanzoni, driven by his love for technical drawing. Based in the so-called Motor Valley, an area in the North of Italy known for mechanics and near to the Po river, the longest in Italy, the irrigation machine sector proved to be the ideal industry to specialize in. In particular, after some years, SIME became specialized in manufacturing long radius irrigation guns. Since then the growth of market shares and proposed models has been continuous and today SIME is the global leader in its field, exporting to more than 70 countries and supplying the most important players in the irrigation industry.
